Underwater bride
makes a splash
MARRIED life is going swimmingly for this bride - snapped UNDERWATER in her wedding dress.
Newlywed Portia Potter, 26, donned her beloved strapless £1,000 designer dress for the unusual shoot in Cardiff last month.
Mrs Potter, who wed in September, is a baby swimming instructor and enlisted the help of a specialist snapper for the shoot.
Amazingly, despite being submerged for around 30 minutes, her treasured sequin-covered satin dress, designed by Phil Colllins, survived the occasion.
Portia, of Blandford Forum, Dorset, said: "Babies have their pictures taken underwater all the time so I thought why not?
"I was a bit wary initially, as I was worried what it would do to the dress but it seems to have survived unscathed.
"In fact, it actually came out cleaner than when I went in."
Portia married hubby Mike, also 26, at St Mary's Church in Ferndown, followed by a reception at the local golf club where they first met - aged just 13.
